~Wisdom & Wellness Dementia Seminar: Saturday, September 28th 10am - 12:30 pm St. Johns UCC in Monroe. Featuring former Wisconsin Governor Martin J. Schreiber, author of My Two Elaines and Bonnie Beam-Startz, ADRC Dementia Care Specialist.

~September 28 -29 is Oktober Fest in New Glarus. SOH has a food stand and could use some additional help (serving, frying cheese curds, cooking brats, etc.). Any help is greatly appreciated.

~Saturday, October 5th - SCSW WECLA Fall Retreat. 8:30am - 3pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells. This years theme is "Turning the World Right Side Up".

~Sunday, October 6th - Fall Outdoor Clean up. After a short break for coffer we will clean up a few areas outside. If you would like some hydrangeas we are thinning the patch behind the church. Pruners, shovels, loppers, rakes, wheel barrows and a good pair of garden would be helpful but not necessary.

~Sunday, October 13th - Harvest Mission Festival. Worship service at 11am; followed by a potluck lunch. Kitchen Committee is Joan Moen, Kathy Wirtz, Kaitlyn Wirtz, Melissa Leonard-Flannery. There will be special music by Rosalie Huntington. Please mark your calendar for October 13th.
